Question by Darjeeling Snow: Which fresh herbs can you find in your food market / New York City ?
Hi -
And which ones do you grow, indoors or outdoors?
I am just wondering, because I cannot yet decide what to grow on my window sill.

In New York you can get ANYTHING. Just hit the ethnic markets, but even main stream markets have cilantro, parsley and basil.
I don’t have window space so I grow it all outside…. You name it, I grow it. Love thyme and basil. I have a sheltered area that I can pick parsley and thyme nearly all year long.
