   I’d give up a body part to go, but gas is way too high, tickets are way too high, hotels at the beach are way too high…and the drive is way too long.

   I’ll be glued to the TV though (as is the case every race day or night!)

   I will be going to my first Daytona race this year… I got really lucky and found a guy on Ebay selling his tickets below face value AND he threw in 2 tickets to the Nationwide race too… I just got a hotel room 12 miles from the track for 59 a night. I didnt want to drive my Explorer down from SC because of the not so nice gas mileage it gets, so I am going to rent from Hertz. It just so happens that Hertz has a promo going right now that if you rent a car for over 3 days, you get a free tank of gas. So, it will basically costs me about 60 bucks to rent the car…

   So, yes, I will be there!
