Question by : would Nascar nation prefer a victory glass of milk, or victory bottle of Coke?
the Nascar Coke 600 is on the same day and possibly same time as the Indy 500. so which victory beverage, Milk or Coke would you want when you get to victorylane?

Does it really matter? Unless your sponsor for the race happens to be Coca Cola. They were drinking something else at Indy before they provided milk, at the request of the driver. I wouldn’t be surprised if they served buttermilk,at one time. I believe Jeff Gordon had an awkward moment when he was driving for Pepsi and was in the winners circle at a Coke race, The important thing is that you get to celebrate in victory lane.

Coke Zero 400 – Pepsi (It will always be the Pepsi 400 in my opinion)
Every other race – Budweiser, even though I’m not even old enough to drink
Would have to say Coke. Always thought that milk was an awful thing to be given when your so hot. Then to throw it all over everyone, have you ever smelled rotten milk? Imagine all of the interviews that follow after this very important race. It would be awful. Really do not know how they can stand it.
p.s. Not a dumb question. Important races in the same day, and different beverages presented to the winner. I like milk but not on a hot day, and poured all over me and everyone around me…..only to make us all smell like yuck.
Always thought it seemed silly to have the congratulatory winners wreath put around your neck. Guess I am more familiar with Nascar’s customs. Very certain that Indy drivers are just as proud of their customs.
