Question by thisisme: What are the best night clubs, bars in Charlotte NC area to go that are upscale and nascar drivers might be?
Im going to the Charlotte, Lake Norman area and wanted to know what are upscale places where one might “see” nascar driver etc during race weekends.

I don’t know where Nascar drivers hang in Charlotte, but i have spoke to someone who lives in Tony Stewart’s hometown of Columbus, IN. They say he makes no attempt to hide from the residents there and can be seen at The local Dairy Queen most times after coming home from a race. They say he is very nice and approachable as long as you treat him like a regular guy. I also know that Kannapolis, NC is a good place to run into Nascar drivers. The Earnhardts live there and alot of other drivers who have close ties with JR hang out around there as well. Hope that helps.
